Intellectual Property Law - Training
EPAG held two training sessions on intellectual property law on June 24 and June 29, 2022. The training was sponsored by the US Embassy in Georgia.
The training was led by:
Merab Kutsia – Head of the Invention and New Varieties Department of the National Intellectual Property Center;
Irma Kavtaradze – patent attorney, Master of Laws, John Marshall Law School (USA);
Sofio Fanjikidze – patent attorney, lawyer, Master of Laws, Harvard Law School (USA);
Irakli Gvilia – patent attorney, lawyer, Master of Laws, New Hampshire Law School (USA); and
Levan Nanobashvili – patent attorney, Master of Laws, Michigan State University (USA) and Central European University (Hungary).
70 participants attended the training: lawyers, students and people interested in intellectual property law issues.
The association will continue to conduct trainings on the issues of intellectual property law in the future.
