Hidden Treasure - Akhaltsikhe

Last week, members of the US Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia visited Akhaltsikhe as part of the Hidden Treasure project. The members of the association met with youth living in Akhaltsikhe and Borjomi and discussed important issues as Georgia’s foreign policy, the prospect of EU and NATO membership, disinformation, civic activism, and mechanism for involvement of citizens in state governance. The meeting in Akhaltsikhe was hosted by Samtskhe-Javakheti State University.
