EPAG Study Visit Program - Visit to EU Delegation and Parliament
Within the Study Visits Program of the US Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia, a group of students from different schools visited the EU Delegation to Georgia. The students were met by the Ambassador of the European Union, Pawel Herczynski, who spoke about his own experience of working in the European Union, the role of EU institutions, and disinformation. Employees of the EU representation and members of EPAG, Mariam Turmanidze and Maya Matheshvili, spoke to the participants.
The final meeting of the Study Visits Program was held in the Parliament of Georgia, which was hosted by the Chief of Staff of the Parliament of Georgia, Ketevan Kvinikadze, and the Chief of Staff of the Foreign Affairs Committee and a member of the EPAG Board, Nikoloz Khatiashvili. At the end of the meeting, participants of the program were awarded certificates.
