ENAM Conference in Budapest

General Assembly of European Network of American Alumni Associations (ENAM) and 75th Anniversary of Global Fulbright Program took place on October 7-8 in Budapest, Hungary. Host of the event was Hungarian Fulbright Association.

US Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia  (EPAG) was represented by its chairperson, Mariam Turmanidze on the conference. Her visit to Hungary was financed by US Embassy in Georgia. The conference was also attended by around 20 members of different alumni associations of various countries, including Germany, Italy, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Ireland etc.

Purpose of the event was to strengthen connections between the member associations, increase cooperation and elaborate future development plan of the network.
Background information: US Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia is a member of the the European Network of American Alumni Associations. General assemblies are held annually for Network members hosted by different alumni associations. ENAM General Assembly 2017 was held in Tbilisi, hosted by EPAG.
