See EPAG Alumni Highlight of Lia Putkaradze, UGRAD 2009-2010:

In 2018, Lia founded the non-governmental organization “SAORSA”, which actively works to promote professional and career development of individuals in the Adjara region.

SAORSA is a local value-based organization that has already implemented various socio-educational programs and individual need-based training with the support of donors and partner organizations to empower youth and women.

Lia Putkaradze connects her life mission with several directions: creating an environment free from poverty and violence; creating a skilled workforce; Gender equality; Quality education, decent labor and decent employment policies; Global citizenship.

There are several organizations associated with her name in Georgia: Saorsa Alumni Association, Saorsa Regional Association, Saorsa Consulting, Saorsa Shuakhevi and Tsalenjikha branches, Batumi Women’s Club, Youth for Employment.

Probably, we will not be biased if we say that Lia Putkaradze has set the first precedent when she founded “Saorsa” with her international team in Europe, in Poland.
