Project “Pillar of Democracy” – Meeting IV

A mock jury trial has been conducted in the framework of the “Pillar of Democracy” Project!

The project participants learned more about the importance of jury trials from the Director of TSU’s International Law Institute, Professor Irine Kurdadze, EPAG’s Chairperson Luka Bluashvili, and International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) Bureau Director Sarah Rupert.

Public Diplomacy Officer Christine Yarng awarded the project participants certificates and symbolic prizes. Outstanding students will develop professionally through internships at the Georgian Bar Association and NGO “House of Justice.”

Throughout September, the project participants will share their knowledge and experience with members of American Spaces’ clubs.
