Webinar - Equality Rights and the Perspectives of Human Rights Defenders

Last week, EPAG hosted a webinar on Equality and the Rights of Human Rights Defenders.

The speakers of the first part of the webinar were Giorgi Oganesyan, Shalala Amirjanova and Aitaj Khalili – three human rights activists who spoke about the struggle of ethnic minorities in Georgia while creating an equal and non-violent environment.

The purpose of the second part of the webinar was to present the activities of female human rights defenders, to discuss their achievements and challenges. In this part, the audience of the webinar listened to three young female human rights activists – Tozu Gulmamedeli, Nino Baisonashvili and Rusa Sekhchidze.
